JOB APPLICATION
Candidates interested in testing for the position of Deputy Sheriff Trainee should visit the San Bernardino County Human Resources website at www.sbcounty.gov/hr to determine if the position is open and accepting applications. If the position is closed please check this website on a regular basis. This position will close periodically to process applications and will reopen shortly there after.
Following the written examination, candidates will be scheduled to appear for a physical agility test at the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Academy. Only those candidates successful on the written exam and the physical agility test will be allowed to continue into the background process.
Written exams will not be rescheduled for candidates unable to appear on the scheduled test date. Candidates shall only appear on scheduled test dates. Candidates may retest for Deputy Sheriff Trainee six months after taking the written exam
